Privacy Policy

NegotiRate (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a creator pricing and negotiation tool. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We've written it in plain language because privacy policies shouldn't require a law degree to read.

What we collect

• Email address — when you create an account or sign up. We use this for authentication and to send you your reports.
• Calculator inputs — the data you enter into the rate calculator (follower count, engagement rate, platform, etc.). We use this to generate your results.
• Payment information — if you purchase a paid report or plan. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage analytics — we use PostHog to understand how people use NegotiRate. This includes page views, feature usage, and general interaction patterns. We use this to improve the product.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve NegotiRate's features
• To generate your rate benchmarks and reports
• To process payments securely via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (report delivery, account updates) via Resend
• To analyse usage patterns and improve the product

We do not sell your data

Full stop. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Not to brands, not to agencies, not to anyone.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted services to run NegotiRate:

• Supabase — data storage and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — email delivery
• PostHog — product analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We choose providers that take data protection seriously.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. PostHog may set analytics cookies to help us understand product usage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for product improvement.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

NegotiRate is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice on our site. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
